AGM
This year’s AGM will be held on Wednesday 22nd March 2023 at 7.30pm at the Poppy Lounge, Park View Terrace, Sketty, Swansea SA2 9AR
Any club members that wish to attend please download and print a copy of the agenda & the minutes from the 2019 AGM by clicking on the links below, will not be supplying copies or reading the previous minutes as we have a lot to get through so if anyone has any matters arising from the minutes please prepare them in advance.
All proposals must be submitted in writing to the Club Secretary by emailing them to brynmilldacsec@outlook.com no later than 2 weeks before the AGM.
Proposal received from Andrew David on 18/02/2023 – I would propose closing down all fishing in the snags/day pegs to stop them being baited and holding fish. Great for our fish to have an out of bounds area where they can escape pressure, and then they have to enter the main body of the lake to feed on bait. Also 72 hours on 48 off.
Proposal received from Jason Bradley on 20/02/2023 – New snags day peg rule, casting from day peg only, no walking down the bank, baiting poles or lines towards the overflow.
Proposal received from Jason Bradley on 20/02/2023 – The Club considers joining as an affiliate member of the Angling Trust, as its a good safety net going forward to be affiliated with a larger organisation, and it should give us good local and wider club acknowledgement and PR options too. The costs are similar to Angling Cymru but there may be benefit of being affiliated to both organisations.
