Brynmill and District Angling Club run 2 Coarse Fisheries in the Swansea Enterprise Park that caters for Pleasure, Specimen and Match anglers.

The Fendrod Lake occupies an area of 13 acres and has a good head of Carp up to just over 30 pounds in weight, Bream into double figures, and smaller Roach, Rudd and Perch.

The Half Round Ponds occupies a half-acre site behind Dobbies Garden Centre is a mixed fishery with Roach, Rudd, Carp, Tench Perch and Crucian Carp.

Membership of Brynmill and District Angling Club allows you to fish both these venues on the same permit.

Brynmill Angling Club was formed just after the 1st World War and was granted their first lease on Brynmill Park Lake in 1927.

Unfortunately, Swansea Council decided to discontinue angling on Brynmill Park Lake in the late 1980’s, but in the early 1990’s they granted the Club a licence agreement for the newly flooded Fendrod Lake in the Swansea Enterprise Park and the old Mannesmann works cooling lagoons, now known as The Half-Round Ponds. Fish were transferred from Brynmill Park Lake and also sponsorship obtained from the Environment Agency to restock the two new venues.

The Club has spent 1000 of hours and pounds on improving and developing these fisheries and now provides coarse fishing for Pleasure, Match & Carp anglers and has an average membership of about 300 anglers.
