Description

These 2 ponds cover a half-acre site some 300yds from the Fendrod Lake.

They are situated behind Dobbies Garden Centre and have their own car-park that can be accessed via a private lane by the Matrix Park Offices. The Half Round Ponds were originally cooling ponds for the old Mannesmann Steel works, the site of which is now occupied by the Matrix Park Office blocks. Now beautifully landscaped, you’d never guess their industrial past only finished some 25 years ago.

The Half Round Ponds is a mixed fishery with Roach, Rudd, Carp, Tench and Crucian Carp.
